Our Heart for Missions

Bonnyville Pentecostal Church is committed to the call of Christ to make the gospel known and to respond with compassion to the needs of a broken world. We believe the Church is called not only to proclaim the good news of salvation, but also to care for the vulnerable—widows and orphans, as emphasized throughout Scripture (James 1:27), and those living in circumstances marked by poverty, conflict, or vulnerability.

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

James 1:27

Our support of missions reflects a desire to be faithful stewards of what God has entrusted to us, partnering with ministries that share the message of Christ and serve others with integrity, humility, and love. Through prayer, generosity, and ongoing partnership, we seek to take part in God’s work both locally and around the world.

“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?
As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’”

Romans 10:13–15

Serving Faithfully Together

We recognize that missions is not the work of individuals alone, but the shared calling of the Church. As a congregation, we prayerfully support these ministries and trust God to use each partnership to bring hope, healing, and the message of salvation to those who need it most.
